In this next installment I want to add to my growing dictionary of Kingdoms Live terms and game play.
Emoji – Emoji is a Japanese word for picture characters, sometimes called emoticons. It combines the syllable for “picture” with that for “letter”. Many new players and some old players are surprised to learn about a way to decorate their walls and names using some downloadable features on their keypad.
To enable Spell Number Emoji, follow these steps:
a. Be Sure You're on iPhone or iPod firmware 2.2 or 2.2.1
b. Go to the app store and download the free 'Spell Number' app.
c. Launch app and enter in this code 91929394.59 Now, close the app.
d. In your iPhone open the Settings tab. Then: General, Then: Keyboard, Then: International Keyboards, Then: Japanese, Then: Turn the Emoji switch to "ON" position. You are done!
e. When you want to add in an emoticon in your writing, touch the little world symbol to the left of your space bar.
Wall Art - Using emoji and other keyboard functions to decorate a player wall can be supportive, fun, or even threatening. I have found the use of the emoji functions to be one of the most fascinating aspect to the day to day playing of the KL.
Some players have dedicated themselves to offering their wall as a virtual art gallery for all types of decorations. For example, Water is a player who recently invited others to his wall be the site for a valentine’s day poetry and art competition.
I see a lot of congratulatory art, such as when a person reaches a high level, like 100. I’ve seen aquariums, rude gestures or crass suggestions, fireworks, and even the starship Enterprise from Star Trek.
To close, I’d like to thank all of you for my blog reaching another milestone this week. For the 6 weeks I’ve been posting, I’ve now earned over 2,000 pageviews. Thanks for your reading, personal advertising, and cool comments.
Remember, if you have an interesting story to tell, seek me out here, in KL, or through my email at generalcandel@gmail.com.
